As you know, we’ve been a big fan of ARCTIC’s AIOs for years. So when we took a tour of their stand at Computex, we were delighted to see a huge number of new products. Let’s start with the stand’s star attraction, the Xtender (VG).
ARCTIC Xtender (VG)
This is the brand’s first case. This is a top-of-the-range medium-tower ATX chassis of the ‘aquarium’ type, but with only two glass panels. The case has numerous fan/radiator mounts. It comes standard with four fans, 1x P12 and 3x P14 reverse. The case will be available in black and white versions, with and without a vertical mounting kit for the graphics card.
Arctic P12 Pro and P14 Pro
While we’re detailing the ventilation of this new chassis, we also discovered the P12 Pro and P14 Pro. These fans are designed for radiators with a design that promotes high static pressure and optimum airflow. The 120mm P12 Pro PST offers an airflow of up to 77 cfm at a static pressure of 6.9mm H₂O, while the 140mm P14 Pro PST can reach 110 cfm at a static pressure of 5.2mm H₂O.
Freezer 8, Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB & Freezer 36S
The Freezer 8 can be considered a small entry-level CPU cooler. It has a stack of aluminium fins and 2 heatpipes. Finally, a 100 mm PWM fan completes the package. It is AM5 and LGA 1851 compatible (with a contact frame ).
The Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB features new, faster fans than the Liquid Freezer II. The thickness of the radiator fins has also been increased. Finally, we spoke to the brand about the Contact Frame and the possibility of voiding the warranty. This is not a problem for Arctic, who claim that their use is risk-free in this respect. This model is available in 240 mm, 360 mm, 280 mm and 420 mm versions.
Finally, the Freezer 36S A-RGB. Unlike its big brother, it has just one fan (P12 Pro A-RGB).
