Goodbye 12VHPWR, Hello 12V-2×6

The specs of the ASRock Taichi TC-1300T ATX 3.1 PSU are attractive, two native 12V 2×6 connections with integrated temperature sensors that can handle 600 watts each, a 135mm fan, 80 PLUS Titanium.  Inside you will find Rubycon caps and while OCInside weren’t able to say which OEM designed the Taichi TC-1300T for ASRock, the 10 year warranty suggests you shouldn’t be worried about the build quality at all.

The testing shows that the the voltage on the 12 volt rail is a little low, at 11.730V it is still well within spec and the power delivery is solid but that may turn off some high end users.  The current $450 price tag might also chase away some prospective buyers as there are plenty of less expensive models, however they will lack the pair of 12v 2×6 connectors.
