A24 released a series of images on Tuesday for season 2 of Hazbin Hotel, Vivienne Medrano’s fan-beloved, adults-only animated musical series about a princess of Hell trying to redeem its denizens and get them into Heaven. The new season arrives on Prime Video on Oct. 29.

The company also announced details for a theatrical sing-along screening tour, previously teased at HazbinHotel.com. According to A24, the theatrical showing, a one-day event set for Oct. 1, will “feature the first four episodes of Season 1 with on-screen lyrics for all songs.”

That’ll be a disappointment to anyone who got wind of the sing-along showings in advance and was hoping to get to belt along in public with bangers like “Hell’s Greatest Dad” and screamers like “You Didn’t Know,” or echo Alastor the Radio Demon’s haunting declaration of intent in the season’s final show-stopping number. But for fans of some of the season’s biggest hits, including “Loser, Baby,” “Poison,” and “Hell Is Forever,” the sing-along still promises to be a fun time with the Hazbin superfans.

And there are plenty of them: According to A24, the season 1 soundtrack has been streamed on Spotify more than 1 billion times. The original 2019 series pilot, a 31-minute proof of concept translating Medrano’s characters into animation, has been viewed more than 117 million times since it was released on YouTube.

According to the show’s official page, tickets for the sing-along go on sale Sept. 2. The screenings will be held in 25 U.S. cities: Atlanta, Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Sacramento, Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, and Washington DC.

As to the season 2 art, it’s mostly character portraits, with a couple of fairly specific, intriguing developments, particularly about the fate of Sir Pentious, the cobra-themed demon last seen in season 1’s finale. Minor potential spoilers ahead in these images. And yes, bring on more of the Alastor/Lucifer rivalry… or whatever is going on in that first shot.
