Wood Is So Hot Right Now

The RGB phase has never left us, but the addition of real wood to our cases is new and spreading as fast as RGB-itis did back in the day. If you are not a fan of wooden highlights on your cases you still have plenty of choices, and now those that like a little lumber in their build also have a number of models to chose from.  The Antec C8 Curve Wood is one example, a member of their Constellation range which also includes the C3, C5, and C7.  You can get them with a curved tempered glass panel which wraps around the front of the case or have a more traditional straight edge.

As you might expect the Antec C8 is the largest Constellation class, measuring (D) 464mm x (W) 303mm x (H) 476mm (1.5 x 1.0 x 1.6′) and is designed so your PSU is mounted behind your motherboard as opposed to above or below it.  You can fit an almost obscene amount of cooling in the Antec C8, with the top, rear, sides and bottom of the case all accepting numerous fans or large radiators.  However the Antec C8 does not ship with any fans at all.  This could be a boon for those who like specific cooling solutions and would remove any fans included in the case, but does make the $150 price tag feel a bit high.

TweakTown ended up with mixed feelings about the Antec C8 because of the lack of fans and price, but overall they would definitely recommend it for those that like the look of it.
