The points already suggested it, but this time it’s official: for the 2nd year running, France has won the Hwbot Country Cup! We’ll explain in a little more detail, and if you didn’t know, we can fix that for you!

As you can see, this victory was achieved with a comfortable lead. Connoisseurs and regulars will note the absence of the Australians from the ranking, even though they’ve been victorious several times in this competition.

What is this Country Cup?

Many of you are probably wondering what this competition is all about. Well, to put it simply, the different countries compete in “events”, which are defined in advance. Think of the Olympics, but overclocking version. These stages are divided into 4 categories:- AMD CPU- INTEL CPU- AMD GPU- NVIDIA GPU Each of these sub-categories contains 5 events, which are designed to diversify not only the hardware, but also the skills required. As with many other competitions, Hwbot always selects some of the courses to be run on older hardware. The result is a nice mix of required equipment. There’s something for everyone, but it also requires organization and a good collection to fill all the scores!Country Cup 2025

An easy win?

We mentioned it earlier in the article, and the kangaroo on the official wallpaper reminds us of it, as do the entries of previous winners: Australians are not to be taken lightly in this competition. And yet, this year, they seemed to be absent. In fact, they didn’t even make the top 10, due to a lack of posted scores. But then, has their interest in this competition disappeared? Or is this an admission of weakness in the face of France? Indeed, for the 2nd year running, it’s a fine victory for France. Perfect organization and motivated participants. Mix that with shared knowledge and skills, and you’ve got a winning recipe!
